About MotorData
MotorData allows you instantly access high quality data on car diagnostics, repair and maintenance. It covers wide spectrum of car makes and models and includes user-friendly and flexible user interface with search tools, cross-links and other interactive features. It works as a web-service with custom client-side software used to access data quickly and efficiently.
MotorData is one of the leading automotive diagnostics information systems on Asian-built cars. Professionals from over 30 countries around the globe (see MotorData Geography) use it daily, cutting their costs and delivering better service.
Fields of Application
MotorData is designed for automotive professionals. It has proven to be commercially efficient for daily use in auto service and diagnostics stations for:
- electronic components repairs;
- ECM, AT, CVT, ABS, VSC, EPS, AC, SRS, Multiplex, CAN diagnostics;
- A/C fill-up and repair;
- alarm systems, LPG and other auxiliary equipment installation.
MotorData also contains valuable reference information, used by mechanics for:
- oil changes;
- coolant checks;
- refilling other fluid capacities.
Access to data
MotorData system is designed as an online service, accessible from anywhere in the world 24/7. Special webclient software is used to connect to MotorData database and display all the information in a user-friendly format. It also allows access to the exact piece of information that the customer needs to solve a problem. Diagram node highlighting, colored wire traces on the interactive diagrams, cross-link capabilities (easy transitions from one component to another) makes the problem analysis and solution smooth and effective.

PC-based client software
We also support access to MotorData via the generic PC client-software. You will need to download and install it on your PC with the following requirements:
- Intel® Pentium III compatible or higher processor and 256MB or more RAM
- Microsoft Windows® operation system (XP or higher)
- Display with 800x600 pixels resolution or higher (1024x768 or higher is recommended)
- Approx. 10MB of space on the hard drive for the client software installation
Capabilities
Information in MotorData is categorized by makes (manufacturers), models and systems (onboard equipment). The data is also divided into several modules based on its type (DTC, wiring diagrams, pin data, etc.)

At this moment MotorData System contains data on more than 400 models from leading manufacturers from Japan, Korea, China and Russia, including Toyota, Lexus, Scion, Daihatsu, Nissan, Infiniti, Honda, Acura, Mitsubishi, Mazda, Subaru, Isuzu, Suzuki, Hyundai, Kia, Daewoo, SsangYong, Chery, Byd, Geely, Great Wall, Renault, Lada, GAZ, and UAZ.

MotorData ELM section of the PC client software features connections via OBD-II port using ELM-327 based adapters. It supports reading and clearing DTCs with freeze-frames as well as visualizing data streams, making your car diagnostics easy and efficient.

MotorData Access Licenses
Access to the system is subscription-based and is managed by licenses. Licenses differ by Access Option (access to different data sets) and duration (period during which the access is active).
